The Conference Center was designed as an integrated event environment, where acoustics, technology, air quality, accessibility and operational logistics were considered from the outset.
A dedicated acoustic study informed the construction and materials of the halls. Their insulated envelopes are separated from the structural shell through specialised acoustic and anti-vibration connections, allowing adjoining spaces to operate independently — even when different events are taking place simultaneously.
Integrated audiovisual systems are controlled from a tablet and designed to support everything from presentations and panel discussions to high-energy social events. Livestreaming is available, together with the option to broadcast proceedings directly to delegates’ hotel-room televisions.
Satellite internet connectivity supports high-speed
Wi-Fi, complemented by enhanced mobile signal coverage throughout the venue.
A dedicated HVAC study informed the ventilation and climate-control design, with particular attention to air quality and thermal comfort throughout extended events.
The Conference Center is fully accessible to guests with disabilities, while its supporting infrastructure has been designed to make the venue equally practical for organisers, speakers, exhibitors and production teams.
Form Meets Function
The interior architecture balances a warm, contemporary aesthetic with the technical requirements of a high-performance event venue.
Curved surfaces, acoustic ceiling panels, wall finishes incorporating recycled leather and natural fibres, and high-performance carpeting were selected not only for their appearance, but also for their contribution to the acoustic environment.
Fully upholstered Casala Curvy chairs were chosen for comfort, flexibility and acoustic performance. The same design family has also been selected for Westminster Abbey in London.
Milliken Nordic Stories carpeting with Comfort Lite cushion backing continues the same approach, combining durability and comfort with acoustic performance.
Everything Behind the Event
Successful events depend as much on what happens behind the scenes as on what guests see.
Dedicated storage areas provide space for event and exhibition equipment, while a purpose-built lift allows bulky and heavy items to be moved directly to the Conference Center. A cloakroom and designated smoking room provide additional convenience for larger gatherings.
This infrastructure allows the venue to accommodate not only conferences and meetings, but also exhibitions, installations, product launches and events requiring more complex production setups.
